Downtown Metro - Warning Picture Heavy

Another awesome pack from China Glaze from the Christmas haul.  Metro Downtown.  There is also another pack Metro Uptown but where I picked this up they didn't have that set and I couldn't remember what the colour names in it were so I moved on.  Shame really as from the pictures it has some beautiful pinks, glitter and beige.  Maybe now I'm back home I can see about getting the set.

Anyways I love this group of colours.  The reason is I would NEVER buy some of these colours by themselves i.e camo green and mustard yellow.  Which would be a shame as both of these colours surprised me.  All of these are 2 coats of polish, again this was a rushed swatched so no base or top coat.

Left to Right and below picture order:  Skyscraper, Concrete Catwalk, Westside Warrior, Trendsetter, Loft-y Ambitions and Midtown Magic.

So on with the descriptions.

Skyscraper is a beautiful blue packed full of multi coloured glitter mostly blue and silver.  Reminds me a lot of A-Englands Tristam without the dusty blueness.  Love this colour opaque in one but I did 2 coats.

Concrete Catwalk is a dark smoky grey creme.  I love all greys and charcoals so this was a welcomed edition.  Great colour on it's own, also great konaded over baby pink.

Westside Warrior is a camo green creme, which is a colour that I wouldn't usually wear, but after trying it and the colour surprising me I'm glad I have it.  Also dried a little lighter than I expected it too.

Trendsetter is a mustard yellow with shimmer.  This one was completely unexpectant.  I saw it, thought I would hate it, and yet I don't.  Looks completely different on the nail than the bottle leads you to believe.  Ended up liking, not loving, but liking enough to wear.

Loft-y Ambitions is a burgundy shiny colour, my third favourite of this set.  Odd for me as burgundy polishes are my all time favourite, still beautiful and the shimmer is lovely though I would have preferred a little darker burgundy I think.

Midtown Magic is my favourite of this collection, it's hard to describe it's lovely and dark burgundy/black/red/Brown with golden/burnt orange shimmer depending on the light.  It was a toss up between skyscraper and midtown magic, which won as I prefer Tristam to Skyscraper but I have nothing similar to Midtown Magic.

Anyways all were 2 coats except for Loft-y which was 3 it didn't want to play nicely.  Great application.  Love the colour variety.

Enjoy the picture spam....
