Base coat Revitanail, 2 coats Australis Limited Edition 1, top coat Seche Vite. For stamping China Glaze Admire followed by a coat of Ulta3 no chip top coat and a coat of Seche Vite.
Does anyone else come from one of those families (2 parents, 2 brothers with me the only daughter and the baby too boot), where everyone else has artistic ability and your skills run to stick figures only. YAY me too. Well anyways I have a love for art and colours but no ability so enter Konad and Bundle Monster my two BFF's.
Let's start with Konad which are great but somewhat challenging on my full figured nubbins. The designs seem to be for those mythical nails I hear about that grow long, strong, thin and sit beautifully in the nail bed. Like Unicorns.
Anyways I had to make do as until last year Bundle Monster didn't deliver to Australia.
So here I am seeing all these beautiful full figured BM nail designs but without a chance of getting to them. I added them to my list to grab when I went for my 2 year obligatory parole hearing *Cough* I mean Christmas with the out-laws in the USA. But then a fabulous thing happened, BM on Amazon changed from Domestic only to International as well. (Que harps and angels singing) so I promptly ordered both sets before they realised their mistake and took it away.
Just a side note here on how awesome BM (Remi Collections LLC) is, two of the plates arrived gouged during transport, I let their customer service know and they shipped two replacements out the next day. No questions asked, no request for payment or returning the damaged plates, merely a thank you for the photos but they weren't necessary your replacements are on the way. Awesome customer service.
Anyways back on a sort of track. The two different sets arrived 1 similar to Konad with the designs for mythical unicorns but the other for full figured nubbins like mine.
Needless to say I use Konad and Bundle Monster a lot. Love the designs, ease of use and how many compliments of my awesome art skills I get. I do generally correct them but as the describing just how Konad and BM works seems to take forever I usually just say thanks and move on.
Once I've stamped I put a clear top coat like Ulta3 or Rimmel over the stamped design as I learnt the hard way that Seche Vite no matter how gentle or carefully applied smudges and drags the images. Or if I wait for the stamped polish to dry I get the tip shrinkage. So my way around that a different top coat quickly followed by a coat of Seche Vite. This also makes for a well protected super shiny mani so no complaints.
If you've made it this far, my apologies I had a lot of coffee. I promise I'm done now.
